Australian Government - Rebates up to $1,200 were available. Unless you have been living under a rock you will have heard about the trouble this scheme has run. A new, improved scheme is slated for release later in 2010.Please note that you can only get the solar hot water rebate OR the insulation rebate, not both. So do your homework and decide which scheme is going to deliver the best return in your situation. Also ensure that you select a qualified installer and preferably one that has been in business for a number of years. There have been too many sloppy and dangerous installations.
